Eternity enslaves me
eternity will break me
sickle cell anemia
tears as I'm bleeding

a baptist tells me a Judith tells me
everyone tells me
he still exists

I don't want god to be real
comfortable knowing that I
won't go anywhere after here

this world can be heaven
this world can be hell
its whatever you can make it
or at least so they tell

so I'll sing into the breeze
out in the open field till it stops raining
till it starts snowing
I welcome my freeze

this is the world I know
as far as I wanna go
nothing can compare
to the leaves rattling
and the sky as it glows

this land was my home
wish I never did go
but would I still be here
or deep beneath an engraved stone
