This morning was alright
yeah i woke up at lunch time
went to bed about sunrise and i might
do it again
last night we were downtown
just some boys getting too loud
trying to find us a good crowd
whichever door would let us in
don't know when we're leaving
but you can bet we'll be gone this evening

we earned a degree in
chasing vanderbilt women
and learned us a lesson
sometimes a poor boy can't win
