Testo Time Heals

I spent so much time in the past
wishing that - I could go back
I thought I could make a change somehow
with all these things - I know now

just these thoughts - again and again
the what if's or what could've beens
time heals all wounds but the scars - still show through

what I saw, said or did
it is what it is
and I can't help it

but it still hurts to look
back on some things
and wish they were somehow
done differently

wrapped up in the past I couldn't see what I had
I need to let go of what's holding me back
let these memories fade
cause I'm looking out - on better days
