Been on the lake more times this month then all last year combined
I didn't think much of it till he stayed out there all night
So I drove out to Percy Priest
Found him kissing some blond in his back seat
Had an epiphany
Told myself that I
Had to teach that good old boy a lesson when the sun got setting
He's gone fishing out in the dark
Wasn't hard to fit him in the trunk of my car
Had to scrub down the dock and his tackle box
Used a whole damn gallon of Clorox
He's gone fishing I'm at the bar

Nobody even knows he's missing

I'll give it a couple day and then I'll call the cops
Say that I ain't seen him since he walked out with his zebco rod
Try to cry a tear or two when I'm interviewed on the local news
Join the search crew
