Korpen blickar över morgonens hav,
fäller sina vingar ut.
Låter vinden fylla hans själ,
torkar den kalla nattan väck.

Delling i öst, stjärnor i väst...

Korpen lyfter mot gryningens port, sveper över skogarnas djup.
Blickar ned mot midgårds mark,
ty gryning är människans hopp.

Se dagen i öst, natten i väst,
se Skinfaxes man, i himmelens djup...

Gryningens ljus, flammande hav,
silverne väv, ty Delling kommer med hopp...

The raven gazes upon the sea of morning,
unfolding his wings. He lets the wind fill

Dawn in the east, stars in the west...

The raven takes off towards the gate of dawn,
