An invitation with words all dress in wool
a fabrication to empty everything you thought was full
it's artificial
the limb you suck on in your bed
a superficial infection in your head
i reprise this image burning my eyes
another blister to scrape away
i despise your beauty disguise forever fading away
i avow all my confusion and doubt
you painted pictures you know i couldn't see
i confess to blindness and innocence

believe yourself to be another freed from the disease
